A wide variety of topics are discussed from these nine categories: communication, customers, leadership, management, people, projects, self, strategy, and teams. It has been proven effective for both new and seasoned managers, in a wide variety of industries, including government and nonprofits.

This program will help you address the root cause of your challenges and overcome the obstacles that are holding you back. You'll learn how to develop new habits, build stronger relationships, and create a better work-life balance. You'll learn how to better manage your emotions, stress, and worry. This program has been proven effective in public and private companies, nonprofits, and government organizations of all types and sizes, regardless of industry.

The Leadership Gap

Most individuals and organizations suffer from a silent but deadly leadership gap that is costing them plenty. It's a common phenomenon that slows growth, reduces income, and causes problems to multiply. The individual and organizational symptoms and their true costs are only recognized by a trained eye. Leaders often write them off as normal and inevitable, with no serious consequences and no available cure. They let things continue as they are. But the cost of these issues is substantial, and the dysfunction is totally preventable. It's just a matter of time before the debt catches up with them, their options become more limited, the cure becomes more expensive, and their survival rate plummets.

Here are the top individual outcomes for this program:

  1. Be a more effective leader and communicator.

If you're at a nonprofit, then the goal is to increase fundraising and deliver more impact. In every case, you're delivering more value; faster, better, and cheaper than everyone else and you've become the Vendor of Choice.

Training Isn't Enough

Creating a culture of continuous self-improvement and training isn't enough. The most dysfunctional organization we've ever encountered required their employees to attend external seminars to get hired and promoted. It held internal trainings on Saturday mornings every month, weeklong trainings twice a year, and three-day trainings on a quarterly basis. There were extensive internal training programs required for each job category. There was a recommended reading list, a chosen book for the year, and books available for purchase at the corporate office.

All of this training looked impressive, but it had the opposite effect. People attended these mandatory trainings only to check the box. They didn't try to learn anything or make changes to their habits. They talked about how great the training was in public but complained that it was a waste of time in private. They began to view all training as the same. They had attended everything and they believed they had become the best anyone could be. They became more set in their old ways, and this created a toxic work environment.

This company made a big mistake. They prescribed medicine for their employees that was the wrong medicine. It had no ability to cure the problem. They measured training activity instead of behavioral changes. They blindly believed training would help them achieve their corporate goals but never bothered to measure the actual results. Unfortunately, the medicine was the poison, and it caused a lot of problems.

Coaching Is Critical

Executive training programs deliver knowledge that is quickly forgotten. Coaching is the critical success factor for implementing knowledge, mastering new skills, and achieving excellence. Coaches focus on making behavioral changes that achieve the desired results.

Coaches customize their content to help you meet your highest priority needs in the moment. Instead of delivering standard content, they customize the information. They help you build skills and completely implement knowledge in a way that works best for you. Coaches help you finetune your skills. They help you turn important knowledge into actionable skills that become part of your DNA.

Top 10 Things to Look for in a Coach

It’s important that you find a coach who is a good fit for your specific needs. Here are the top ten things to look for when hiring a coach.

  1. They need to have real experience working in leadership positions so they can provide real solutions instead of unproven theories.

  2. They need to listen to you, understand you, understand your organization, and see beyond what you’re saying.

  3. They must get feedback from your supervisor, your peers, your direct reports, and other key stakeholders to hear firsthand what you do well and how you can do better.

  4. They need to take a holistic approach that combines proven strategies from leadership, management, project management, customer service, sales, public speaking, career, relationship, and life coaching to help you master valuable skills and overcome obstacles that keep you from delivering your highest potential.

  5. They need to have extensive expertise in a wide variety of topics from these nine categories: communication, customers, leadership, management, people, projects, self, strategy, and teams.

  6. They need to customize their coaching to address the root cause of the problem and provide solutions that are tailored to meet your specific needs.

  7. They need to use just-in-time-coaching to solve your most pressing issue in the moment.

  8. They need to provide you with new paradigms and help you see things from different perspectives.

  9. They need to tell you the truth and hold you accountable.

  10. They need to meet with you over a period of time to ensure your knowledge is turned into action, and you master the skills completely.

Be Your Best

Almost all high-performing athletes have at least one coach so they can be their best. Executives are increasingly seeing the benefits of coaching. Coaching converts knowledge into useful skills over time. Coaching is focused on taking your life and organization to the next level. Coaches can help you see things you can’t, master skills completely, and achieve your goals sooner than you could on your own. The best coaches take things to a much higher level: they help you achieve things you didn't think were possible for you.

Learn More About Our Unique Holistic Process.
We're Different

You'll be working with a coach who has a sales background, and MBA, and over 25 years of management and leadership experience, in a variety of industries, helping managers level up their careers using proven strategies.

Our coaching is designed to transform your life, your career, and your organization. Our clients have achieved amazing results, especially those who have tried everything else without much progress and feel frustrated and stuck.

We have developed a unique, holistic, proven process that addresses the root cause of your challenges and helps you create breakthroughs where other coaching, therapy, training, and self-improvement methods haven't. We avoid their five fundamental flaws. We help you understand why you do what you do, why you are where you are, and why you’re ready to change. We help you turn off your autopilot so you can make positive, permanent, and powerful changes.

Holistic Process

We take a holistic approach to your transformation. It addresses leadership, management, project management, customer service, sales, public speaking, career, relationship, life coaching, and communication skills. All aspects of you: mind, body, and soul. All eight areas of your life: charitable, emotional, financial, intellectual, physical, professional, relational, and spiritual. Both parts of your mind: conscious and unconscious. Both parts of your brain: left brain and right brain. And all parts of your organization and stakeholders. Everything is connected. Improving one part ends up improving other parts. Improving all parts together and aligning them with your vision is called transformation.

Root Cause

If you have a bad headache, you typically take aspirin. Aspirin, of course, only alleviates the symptoms of a headache. It temporarily stops the pain but it doesn't prevent headaches from reoccurring. And that’s not what we do. We help you identify the root cause of your headache, heal it, and eliminate it, so headaches don’t occur in the first place. And as a nice side benefit, you don’t need aspirin anymore either.

Root cause can mean different things. Some coaches define it as your thoughts, and they teach you better time management, goal setting, and willpower techniques. Some therapists define it as your childhood experiences, and they help you heal your inner child. We define root cause as the origin of your challenges, which is far beyond your thoughts and experiences.

Will This Work for You?

Our approach is different. It will help you make breakthroughs in those areas of your life you have given up hope of changing. We have helped many clients overcome their challenges, especially for those who have tried everything else, feel frustrated, are getting worse, and have given up hope.

This won't work if you think you already know everything, you've tried everything, you've become the best you can be, and you think our unique process won't work. This is your fear talking and your autopilot engaged to make sure you keep doing the same things and getting the same results.
